While E-Democracy.org has efforts in four UK communities, I am focused
on connecting diverse folks in the U.S. who host online neighborhood
spaces to collectively promote the field the week of Feb. 6, 2011. We
are starting small and using volunteers. We will be using the week to
in particular promote participation in our low income/high immigrant
neighborhood efforts - http://e-democracy.org/inclusion - where we do
have some grant funding.
If for some reasons someone here wants to do this this year in the UK,
let us know and join in! We are thinking something really simple with
folks in various communities using a customized local press release to
get some local attention for their neighbor to neighbor online spaces.
