First up is Preview Day this Sunday. We will be serving dinner to the
APSS overnighters at around 5, but Reed would like everyone to meet at
3:30 at the Levy 6 conference room to help set up, or come later if you
can't come at that time.
We need people to help make sushi for this as well, so if you would
like to help Tamie and you are free on Sunday, please come out and
help. It will be at 11 am. It will be at Katie's House, which is
located at 8137 Gonzaga Avanue, on the corner of Gonzaga and 83rd,
about 1 block west of Loyola. Please come out if you are available!!!
We are also possibly having a group go to Little Tokyo next Saturday,
the 15th. If you would like to go, please reply to this e-mail and let
us know! If you can drive, please mention that as well!
May 6th is the Nikkei Youth Conference and Reed would like to know if
anyone would like to go with him. If not, this is also the day of
graduation. We have been asked to play some Taiko drums as the grads
walk to the Sunken Gardens, so if you're interested, please let us
know!!!
For all those interested in Taiko, the Intercollegiate Taiko Conference
is May 26- 28. It's $40 per person and includes hotel and entry into
the conference. Anyone interested should reply to this and let us know
by the 14th of this month.
