Shattered by the sudden impact of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the
Japanese American fishing community of Terminal Island, California lost
everything when forced out of their homes and sent to internment camps.
Share the spirit of this close-knit community as they recall their
idyllic childhood days, their unique blend of Japanese and American
cultures, and the re-building of their community.
