Grand Hotel: The Musical!

It's that time of year again! For the past five months, LMTers have been preparing for Grand Hotel: The Musical. Next week, it all comes together for three amazing performances!

 

For those of you who don't know, Grand Hotel is set in 1928's Berlin. Here you can find the beautiful Prima Ballerina on her final farewell tour; the charming Baron who is out of money; the ambitious Hollywood hopeful; the mortally ill bookkeeper looking to experience life before his time runs out; a hardworking and honest father-to-be; a businessman in a pinch; the war veteran and cynical doctor; and many other eccentric characters that bring excitement and intrigue to the otherwise mundane lives of those who live in or work at the Grand Hotel.

 

With beautiful period costumes, a two level set, and brilliant choreography, this fully underscored show brings the best of theatre onto the LMT stage. In our fifth official year as a club, Laurier Musical Theatre is kicking it up a notch, and Grand Hotel will blow you away!

 

Grand Hotel: The Musical will be performed Thursday January 15 at 8pm, Friday January 16 at 8pm, and Saturday January 17 at 2pm in the Theatre Auditorium.

 

Get your tickets soon, because they're going fast! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults. At the door, if no student card is presented, students will have to pay $15. Tickets are on sale at the C-Spot on the WLU campus, in the Hall of Fame all next week, as well as online at www.wlumt.com
