As some may be aware, the storrms earlier this year blew some trees down onto the new track  leading up to the weather station.

Mike Armstrong has already done some sterling  work on it  but it's a big job.  As the weather is looking not great for flying  for the next few days  anyone with some time to spare (and/or a chainsaw), is invited to participate in a  bit of track clearance.

Any takers?

All my chainsaws are electric so wouldn't be much use there. Too many things on at the moment but could help later in the summer. Do we have access to a vehicle to bring the wood down the hill.

Some sterling effort today from Mikes Armstrong and Jardine, Ian and myself  have restored a route to the top of the new track  

Quite a bit of fuel for wood burners if you can face cutting and collecting it...
