Mercury Cup #3 is on Sunday,
February 4th!

prize for knocking Alex Abend out of a Mercury Cup event.
- Who will he draw?
- Will anybody actually beat
him?
- Will it be you???
Probaby not... but how will you ever know if you don't
show?
LAST CHANCE
This is the third event in a six event cup... the winner
of which receives a whopping $500 in equipment and their name engraved on the
illustrious Mercury Cup. but only your top 4 results count. So even if you
haven't participated yet - YOU CAN STILL WIN! If you miss this one though, your
chances are over baby...
EVENT-SPECIFIC NOTES
- The wrestling mats will all be pre-lifted by our
juiced-up friends to uncover the rumored strips underneath. This will enable us
to run the first round in a single-flight, avoiding the time issues we had in
the first two events.
- We will finish this event in time for you to bear
witness to the Chicago Bears destroying the puny and insignificant Indianapolis
Colts in order to regain their rightful place as champions of the
universe.
GENERAL CRAP (INFO)
The NYAC is hosting an open mixed epee event Sunday,
February 4th, 2007. Check-in and late registration closes at 10:00am. This is an
official USFA and Metropolitan Division sponsored event, meaning ratings will be
awarded where earned.
ONLINE REGISTRATION
REQUIRED
All entries this season require registration through
AskFRED.
YOU MUST BOTH REGISTER AND COMPLETE ONLINE PAYMENT TO
BE SUCCESSFULLY REGISTERED FOR THIS EVENT.
Any signup without online payment will be ignored and the
$10 late registration fee will be required at check-in. Registration ends at
11:59:59pm Wednesday, January 31st 2007. Failure to register will net us an
extra $10 spot from your wallet... so don't forget, and don't bother waiting
until the last second and then try to tell me FRED was down and that is why you
didn't register in time... TOUGH COOKIES!
NYAC MEMBERS ONLY
Sign-up but DO NOT go through online payment. I will
approve your entries when I see them and you will pay at the door. For the
stupid: NYAC members include those who are actual athletic, associate or regular
members of the New York Athletic Club or those with a privledge card. If your
not getting a monthly invoice, you probably aren't a member. Gate list guests
are not members. Those who claim the NYAC as their USFA club without actually
belonging to it are not members either. This means you. If you still aren't
sure, you can ask me ($1 stupid-question charge applies).
