Map out training plans, design and develop training programs
Conduct organization-wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps to be addressed
Create learning plans based on position and departments including instructor led, one-on-one and learning site materials
Create appropriate new hire learning plans as above
Market available training opportunities to employees and provide necessary information
Develop and lead hands-on classroom led training session including design and preparation of educational aids and materials
Develop a firm style for all training materials
Use accepted education principles and track new training methods and techniques
Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
Maintain updated curriculum database and training records including classroom and one-on-one
Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
Manage content in Learning site
Create custom learning site modules with Adobe Captivate
Requirements
Proven work experience as a trainer in a law firm setting
Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools
Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, train, monitor and evaluate)
Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
MS Office proficiency as well as knowledge of legal applications (document management, macros)
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
Strong communication skills
