Hi Everyone:

Its been a while since we have had a meeting.  I think we have all been busy with rollouts.  Therefore, I would greatly appreciate your responses to the following so we can get things rolling again:

  • What meeting topics would you like to see offered?
  • Can you attend meetings in Century City?
  • Can you attend meetings in Downtown Los Angeles?
  • Can your firm host a Legal IT Trainers Meeting?
  • If so, where is your firm?
  • Would you like to speak/present at a Legal IT Trainers Meeting?
  • Do you know of someone who would like to present?
  • Is there a particular speaker that I can contact to see if he/she would like to present?
  • We had Kevin Siegel do a presentation on Captivate a while ago.  Would you like him to present on the latest version of Captivate?
  • Do you host e-learning in your LMS?  If so, what LMS do you have?
  • Are you happy with your current LMS?  Please provide information.
  • New Location for our Forum -- would you prefer a FACEBOOK page for our group or some other solution, please advise.
Thanks and I look forward to getting our meetings going once again.

  • What meeting topics would you like to see offered?
Performance Support versus Training - how does a Trainer evolve from the classroom to the virtual or desk side needs?
  • Can you attend meetings in Century City?
Not as a rule
  • Can you attend meetings in Downtown Los Angeles?
Yes
  • Can your firm host a Legal IT Trainers Meeting?
I believe we can but I fear conflicts with attorneys could cause us to be bumped.
  • If so, where is your firm?
DTLA - The Gas Company tower, 5th and Grand/Olive
  • Would you like to speak/present at a Legal IT Trainers Meeting?
No thanks.
  • Do you know of someone who would like to present?
No.
  • Is there a particular speaker that I can contact to see if he/she would like to present?
None I can think of.
  • We had Kevin Siegel do a presentation on Captivate a while ago.  Would you like him to present on the latest version of Captivate?
Yes.  Or perhaps a bit of an Advanced Level Tips and Tricks, if the audience is familiar with the Basics of Captivate
  • Do you host e-learning in your LMS?  If so, what LMS do you have?
UniversitySite
  • Are you happy with your current LMS?  Please provide information.
Pretty much.  It has some issues but overall it's gor great functionality and I don't think we're using it to the max effectiveness.

A Facebook page would be great.

Thanks and I look forward to getting our meetings going once again.

Subject: [LITTGroup] Meeting Topics and LMS Questions and More!

Hi Everyone:

Its been a while since we have had a meeting.  I think we have all been busy with rollouts.  Therefore, I would greatly appreciate your responses to the following so we can get things rolling again:

  • What meeting topics would you like to see offered?  E-learning solutions, Captivate, macros – maybe Payne, Eric Crowther
  • Can you attend meetings in Century City?  Not really
  • Can you attend meetings in Downtown Los Angeles?  Yes.
  • Can your firm host a Legal IT Trainers Meeting?  Yes.
  • If so, where is your firm?  6th and Figueroa, Downtown
  • Would you like to speak/present at a Legal IT Trainers Meeting? No
  • Do you know of someone who would like to present?  Maybe Donna Payne, Eric Crowther (ccc macros)
  • Is there a particular speaker that I can contact to see if he/she would like to present?
  • We had Kevin Siegel do a presentation on Captivate a while ago.  Would you like him to present on the latest version of Captivate?  Yes!
  • Do you host e-learning in your LMS?  If so, what LMS do you have?  University Site
  • Are you happy with your current LMS?  Please provide information.  Very happy.  So much easier and more efficient than previous solution.
  • New Location for our Forum -- would you prefer a FACEBOOK page for our group or some other solution, please advise. A Facebook page or Linked In would work.  Whatever is easiest to manage.

Thanks and I look forward to getting our meetings going once again.
