Last meet, we thought of having meets on different forms of
literature...

August 4th and 6th happen to be the birthdays of two major poets of
the early 18th century, Percy Bysshe Shelley and Alfred, Lord Tennyson
respectively.

Hence thought it would be great to discuss the English Romantic Poetry
of which P B Shelly is considered one of the major poets and is
critically regarded among the finest lyric poets in the English
language......and also discuss a bit of Tennyson as part of the
contemporary authors along with other major works in English Romantic
Poetry.

As mentioned in an earlier mail, to encourage active participation
from all members, as well as to encourage everyone to come forward, we
have certain roles which members can chose to play during the meet.
Please choose at least one...more than one is always welcome:)

The roles for this meet are as follows:

...Moderator-to conduct the meeting

...Description and information on English Romantic Poetry(style,
origin and so on...)

...Famous English Romantic Poetry, writers and their biographies

...Author presenter(Percy Bysshe Shelley)

...Contemporaries, same genre famous authors and controversies
presenter(Alfred, Lord Tennyson, other English Romantic Poets)

...Own Poetry(Open for more than one...in fact it would be great if
everyone takes this role)

...Reviewer at the end of the meet

...Other activity conductor(puzzles/crossword etc.)

...General discussions/articles came across presenter

...Reviewer of the meet immediately after the meet online

SO PLEASE WITHOUT FAIL MENTION THE ROLE/ROLES YOU ARE INTERESTED IN

I would appreciate a more proactive participation from our members
rather than just being the audience...

I request all our members to do the following without fail, as it
would help our group to organize the meet ups in a better way:
...to promptly RSVP for a meet as to whether they would be coming or
not and the role interested in taking
...if not, the reason for their absence (topic not interesting, some
other work or any other reason)
...to answer the questions asked at the time of RSVP without fail.
...any ideas/suggestions for the current meet up which can be
implemented for the scheduled meet
...all those who attended, to give a detailed feed back on the meet up
immediately, with suggestions and ideas for improvement
...those who RSVP yes and did not turn up, the reason for their
absence

Try and answer at least some of the questions if not all as
"yes"...even if it is a "no" right now...try and turn it into a "yes"
before the meet up...

Inform what exactly you would be doing in advance...so that the meet
can be more planned and organized...

Try and make it to the meet on time...so that it doesn't disrupt the
ongoing meet and also doesn't affect the planned structure of the
meet...

Be a patient good listener in the bounds of the topic, with an
understanding, supportive and appreciative approach towards other
members during the meets...building a platform for a healthy, sensible
and more productive interaction...

Volunteers to organize:
The reason we did not have any meets in the past two months is...me
being out of station, most regular members going on summer vacation
and a lack of members who were ready to organize meets in our absence.
Hence I am looking forward to people taking up more responsibilities
especially in organization.

Invitations:
One of the basic reasons of having our club is to enjoy the company of
like minded people doing activities which we enjoy the most...hence
now on all literary, intellectual and cultural events happening around
the city is another opportunity for our members to experience as well
as bond...and it shall be listed on our site as a meet up to attend. I
request all the members to put up the links to any such events across
our city in the section (Vista) provided for the same in our
discussion boards and the event shall be scheduled as a meet up.
