The summer sapped our bodies of the juices both creative and
corporeal...and some of us escaped to the cool havens of some secluded
summits.

Now that we are back...its time to quench our long endured thirst by
opening the gates of our withheld literary and creative reservoirs
under the downpour of the monsoons and the visual treat of the vibrant
rainbows.

Hence, we start our meets again, with the topic "RAIN".

We shall rediscover the beauty of rain and the season itself, through
various literary works on the topic. It would be great, if each of you
could talk about at least one creative work related to Rain or the
season itself, that appealed to you the most. The icing on the cake
would be...if some of us at least, drizzle their creative juices with
the presentation of their own work during the meet.

I would appreciate a more proactive participation from our members
rather than just being the audience...

I request all our members to do the following without fail, as it
would help our group to organize the meet ups in a better way:
...to promptly RSVP for a meet as to whether they would be coming or
not and the role interested in taking
...if not, the reason for their absence (topic not interesting, some
other work or any other reason)
...to answer the questions asked at the time of RSVP without fail.
...any ideas/suggestions for the current meet up which can be
implemented for the scheduled meet
...all those who attended, to give a detailed feed back on the meet up
immediately, with suggestions and ideas for improvement
...those who RSVP yes and did not turn up, the reason for their
absence

Try and answer at least some of the questions if not all as
"yes"...even if it is a "no" right now...try and turn it into a "yes"
before the meet up...

Inform what exactly you would be doing in advance...so that the meet
can be more planned and organized...

Try and make it to the meet on time...so that it doesn't disrupt the
ongoing meet and also doesn't affect the planned structure of the
meet...

Be a patient good listener in the bounds of the topic, with an
understanding, supportive and appreciative approach towards other
members during the meets...building a platform for a healthy, sensible
and more productive interaction...

Volunteers to organize:
The reason we did not have any meets in the past two months is...me
being out of station, most regular members going on summer vacation
and a lack of members who were ready to organize meets in our absence.
Hence I am looking forward to people taking up more responsibilities
especially in organization.

Invitations:
One of the basic reasons of having our club is to enjoy the company of
like minded people doing activities which we enjoy the most...hence
now on all literary, intellectual and cultural events happening around
the city is another opportunity for our members to experience as well
as bond...and it shall be listed on our site as a meet up to attend. I
request all the members to put up the links to any such events across
our city in the section (Vista) provided for the same in our
discussion boards and the event shall be scheduled as a meet up.
