WELCOME PARENTS!
I hope your school year is off to a great start. Here are some
announcements for you:
1. Your help is needed! Please read on to see if you can assist with
any of these needs:
a. We need a choir parent to participate on the concert production
team with our current coordinator, Jeanne Parzygnot. You will never
have to miss your child’s performance, but you’ll be asked to assist
with ticket coordination and door sales so that other parents might
enjoy the same privilege on other concert nights. If you’re
interested, please email Jeanne (
jparz...@att.net)!
b. Performance apparel, anyone? We need lots and lots of helping
hands on board to assist with the hemming and alterations needed
annually for our students. Sewing experience is nice, but not
necessary; we also need folks who can help with measuring, cutting,
ironing and pinning! Please add your name to volunteer here:

c. The Pancake Breakfast approaches!! We’re actively soliciting
parent volunteers as well as donations for our 2011 event. It takes a
village to run this event—we need almost 100 volunteers!! Use the
following links to add your support to this important Booster
fundraiser:

3. Our first Music Booster meeting of the school year will be held on
Thursday, September 15, 2011, beginning at 7:30 pm in Room 91. NOTE
THE DATE CHANGE (necessitated by Back-to-School Night on our
previously scheduled night). Come hear about the latest plans for the
Music Boosters!
4. As a parent of a student in band, choir, or orchestra, you are
automatically a member of the Lincoln High School Music Boosters. One
of the primary ways the Boosters support the various programs is
through fundraising. You can support the Music Boosters through a
variety of ongoing, no-cost fundraisers. By participating in any or
all of these fundraisers you provide much needed funds to the music
department with no additional cost to you. Please check these out.
www.shopwithscrip.com: You order gift cards or certificates for use
by yourself or others. The Music Boosters receive up to 50% of the
amount you spend depending on what you purchase. The portion that goes
to Music Boosters is considered a charitable contribution for you. You
can shop at stores or on-line with your gift cards. The school ID is
1B5AB74627L39. WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR FIRST ORDER, YOUR STUDENT WILL
EARN $10 FOR HIS/HER STUDENT ACCOUNT! SIGN UP TODAY!
If you need ink cartridges for your printer consider supporting the
Music Boosters by purchasing them through Print2Earn. Check out
http://print2earn.org/Default.html?PageCode=Lincoln+High+School+Music+Boosters
on how you can help support the Music Department. Music boosters earns
20% of your purchase and you can use this as a charitable
contribution.
eScrip isn't just for your Safeway purchases. Go to
www.escrip.com and
check out all the merchants who support this program. By registering
store loyalty cards, i.e. Safeway, debit, and credit cards, any time
you make a purchase at a participating merchant escrip credits a
portion of your purchase to the Music Boosters. Use our school code,
137317445, when registering. You can shop at retail stores or on-line
through the escrip page to benefit Music Boosters.
