Hello AZ LGBTQA Higher Education Network,

Happy Holidays and winter break! I hope this message finds each of you well and winding down your successful Fall semesters.

If you are receiving this email, the coordinating team for the AZ LGBTQ Higher Ed project has one last request of you before you depart on your holiday breaks! As you know, we have monthly reporting requirements to the state, in order to continue receiving funds for the project that has provided resources on your campus, allowed us to assist with strategic planning, and funded the Queering Arizona conference for 3 years. We know that because of the difference in your reporting cycles, we may or may not be hearing about all the wonderful work you are doing on your campus. Since it is the end of the year, we want to make sure we haven't missed anything!

Following that, we are requesting that you send us a report from the Fall semester that includes the activities you have done related to LGBTQ programming and resources or Alcohol and Other Drug programming, and the numbers of individuals participating in those activities. This report does not have to follow any specific format - it can simply be forwarding us the reports you have already created for your college or university, or it can be a simple list of events. All reports should include:
  • names of events held
  • date
  • short description (unless self explanatory)
  • number attended
If you aren't able to send the semester's worth of activities (which we would strongly prefer), please send December instead.

You can send all materials to Lauren - do not reply to the listserv. If this is not possible, please get in touch with me as soon as possible and we will arrange something.

Thank you for all your hard work and for making this a wonderful semester (and year!) for your campus communities! All the best,

Please respond with your reports by Dec. 30th, 2013.
