However, there were quite of few of the established team missing and we
didn't know who was coming or not (i.e.: almost no-one said "I'm not
coming").
Can I kindly suggest that we inform either Martin or Simon if you don't
intend to come, so that we know if we will have enough players and whether
we should wait for you. This is especially important to whoever is running
the training (normally Simon or Martin) so that they can organise the
training accordingly.
After recent tournament experiences and discussing with other teams, I
realise how very lucky many of us (new players) are to have the quality
experienced players amongst us, and especially Simon, who does put
considerable effort into planning and executing practices (I'm sure all of
us have significantly benefitted from his advice and support); most other
new teams/clubs don't have such a luxury. Let's make sure that respect
everyone's contribution. Thanks.
I look forward to seeing you all on the field soon in these perfect playing
conditions!
Steve
P.S.: Tom's Tournament was purely FANTASTIC!!!! The tournament report is
currently with the "Editors" and should be "published" this coming week.
The Paga Tourny report hasn't made it onto paper - anyone started writing
anything? I'd be happy to do it with someone...any takers? I've got
photos; Joyce? anyone else? Could you pass them on on CD so I can
combine, edit, etc.).

If you haven't made the commitment yet, maybe now's the right time!
Talk to Simon, Martin, or myself if you want to take the plunge into
the exciting world of competitive ultimate.
