Dear green-minded astronomers,

The AAS Committee on Sustainability is hosting a splinter session at the upcoming AAS meeting in Austin.  The session is focused on how astronomers can user our expertise to teach climate change, both in Astro 101 classes and in other public venues and situations.  If you're attending the meeting, please join us at this session!

"Astronomers: Teach Climate Change!"
Wednesday January 11
2:00 - 3:30 pm
Room 12B

I've added a link to the wiki page here:

If you already teach climate change in an Astro 101-type intro course, please also consider sharing your wisdom and your power point slides.  Some are already posted on the Committee on Sustainability website here:

...but we can certainly use more.  If you've got something to offer, email me directly and I'll post it for you.

Thanks, Happy New Year, and hope to see you in Austin,

James Lowenthal
