La Grande Finale Jour - 6th Sept

Hey Everyone,

The final day is almost upon us, 11 days from now at The Embankment at
Stranmillis, The PEC end. We have two matches left to play. First is
The Swerve and second is C.H.A.S.E.*

Currently we are in second place (full breakdown of results and points
table on www.ldwultimate.co.nr or www.belfastultimate.org ) and even
if we do win the two remaining games, it is unlikely that we will move
into first place. C.H.A.S.E.* are 5 points ahead meaning that if we
beat them they'll have to lose in their other match against
S.C.R.U.F.F** Which is possible but somehow I don't think it will
happen. But remember a wise man once said "It isn't about winning,
it's about beating a team that is close to going through a league
undefeated" I think we can all see the relevance of that wise man's
words today!

It would be great to get the best squad out as possible, CALLING ALL
TROOPS! Seriously, it is likely that both The Swerve and C.H.A.S.E.*
will have a lot of players out and If anything that's why we'll lose.
The main reason we didn't win against The Comber boys before is
because we didn't have a full team and had to rely on a couple of pick
up players when we got there, and even then there was only a point in
it.

Let us know if you can make it down, I know I'm always on here pleeing
for players, but it would be much appreciated. 6th of Sept. Can you
make it?

I hope everyone can make it out because i cant and it sucks! So thats
me and, from what i remember, jason and Hammy out of the squad list
for le grande finale jour.

Hey Guys,

'The Big Final Day' is uopn us on saturday and I haven't heard much
good news about players able to play but more from players who can't.
We won't have Jason or Moo and I belive Hammy can't make it so that
sucks.... kind of.

We do have (found out from asking peeps at practice) Myself, Karen,
Andy Mac, Rob, and Ob.

I haven't heard from Big Adam (you out there buddy?) and I mentioned
it to Cara Glover a few weeks back, but I'm not too sure if she was
definately up for it.

Gonna try and bring along a few more people, but if you can make it
let me know.

Our first Match is at 11am against The Swerve. This means be there for
10.30am to warm up and get used to the conditions (we are at
Stranmillis embankment at the PEC end)

Our second match is at 12pm against C.H.A.S.E. - This is the big one
as they are undefeated and we can't let them go through a whole league
undefeated, it's like against the law or something ;)
