Shirts!

Thought I'd start a new post for this ...


From what I can tell the general opinion is that we will have a white
and a black t-shirt with both having numbers on one sleeve and the new
crest on the other sleeve with the main logo on the front ... we are
definately going to be using the original drawing of the lion jumping
out of the wardrobe catching a disc in its mouth, cos lets face it,
its pretty kick ass - but we are unsure of the final design.

However, I just wanted to let you all know about pricing! I have
sourced some pretty cheap shirts and what not.

1x White Shirt = £1.50
1x Black Shirt = £1.60

It will take one sheet of the tshirt transfer paper for each shirt and
these are roughly one quid a sheet.

So for 2 shirts we are gonna be paying a fiver. For 2 shirts thats not
bad at all!

Let me know if you guys are okay to fork out that pricey amount. lol.

also, numbers:

Moo: 44
Stu: 69
Jason: 83
Adam: 7
Rob: (haven't got yet)
hammy: (haven't got yet)

and the females that shall be joining us:

Clare: I think is 11 (but don't hold me to that)
Karen: 8

I've order a couple of extra shirts in black and white just incase.


The reason we are having 2 shirts, black and white, as I'm sure you
have guessed is so we have both dark and light colours. ie, if another
team have white we can wear our black.

Rob and Hammy, can you guys get back with what numbers you want? Moo
can you ask Clare to confirm her number!

I might have talked a guy from my work to come down dressed as a lion
(or wardrobe), but that's not confirmed as of yet!

as with bug clare is 07 as 7 is taken and she'll not play in anything
else! :)
everything sounds good there stu! thanks for sourcing stuff and
pricing it... we can split the cost of the summer league (£10 a team)
and add the fiver and i'm sure we'll not go much over £6

nice one. sounds exceptional. I would like number 3 please. can't be any other number im afraid. except for my old school bug shirt but I sadly had no choice in that matter. I might burn it. na that wud be stupid im wearing it right now. 7 hour practice still goin on? i say we make it 9 hours.

Also, I recruited someone else. My mate Jonny, he played once back
when we where 'bit o blue' hes quite athletic and hopefully will help
us out. I haven't got a number off him as of yet.

This sets us up with 9 players in total. I have sent hammy an email to
see if hes still up for playing and what number he wants but i have
had no reply, if he doesn't end up playing then we still have 8
players, which will come in handy, as last time it was deadly playing
with no subs. lol.

Hopefully we can have them ready for the league. lol. maybe even by
Sunday for our practise. whoohoo ... I seen t-shirts in tesco for the
same price as online, so I reckon I'll just get them instead of paying
delivery fees and what not.

Is everyone happy with white and black t-shirts? The t-shirt transfer
paper apparently only works on light coloured t-shirts, but I have
been assured by a reliable source that it will work, so fingers
crossed.

well or black i don't really mind, but black and white is pretty standard, if u got a colour no1 else had, we would only need 1?

oh also, i have a mate who plays in Edinburgh who might play next tuesday, he's pretty good if we wanna take him or maybe its better if i just let pete allocate him in the fairest way.

same goes for me. let me know when you need some money. If you want me to get sum t-shirts from tesco I can do so with my trusty 10% discount. All I would need to know is sizes.... I'll see yas on sun. what time would suit best? 12.00/1.00??

The shirts have been bought and started. the white ones are all done.
and the black ones (yes we went black) will be done soon.

Our main colour will be white. Black is only our back-up colour.

But so far the shirts look pretty frigging awesome.

Jason, where would you like them posted too? and when will you be back
in the country? and also I reckon there will be a spare t-shirt
without a number that your mate can use.

think moo might have some photos of us making the shirts and the final
product, so he'll probably post them up here.
