HERE COMES SEASON #32

As Lake Country Jubilee kicks off Season #32, there’s a lot for which to be thankful! Amazing talents such as The Collingsworth Family, The Booth Brothers, Ernie Haase &amp; Signature Sound, The Mark Trammell Quartet, Triumphant Quartet, Jim &amp; Melissa Brady, and many more, made their Texas debut at LCJ! And you, or loyal fans, made it all possible. But, we follow in large footprints! Since gospel music’s arrival here in 1924, many “soldiers” have helped hold the gospel music banner high. They include Virgil and Frank Stamps, The Stamps Quartet, The Chuck Wagon Gang, W.B. Nowlin, and for the last 31 years, Lake Country Jubilee. Going forward, every LCJ Concert is important, especially our “kickoff” concert for 2023. It will set the stage for the 2024 Centennial Season. In the century since 1924, blues, jazz, big-band, and western swing, have flourished, and faded. But gospel music has adapted, and is still a vibrant testimony to our Lord’s love! So, let me encourage you to be with us next Saturday night, March 25 th , when we present the “incomparable” Collingsworth Family at Lake Country Jubilee. As usual, it will be presented at the Terrell Performing Arts Center 400 Poetry Rd. in Terrell, Texas. Tickets are still available, and fortunately, all the seats at the TPAC are “Good Seats.” The doors open at 5:30PM and the Concert starts at 6:30PM. And we’ve printed some extra posters for our June 3 rd LCJ Concert featuring The Hoppers, The Booth Brothers, and Jim &amp; Melissa Brady. Please post them to your church, Sunday school, or other high-traffic area’s where they may be displayed. It really helps!!! With Covid in the rear view mirror, let’s start preparing to launch the next Century with a “BANG!!” The weather forecast is for mid-70’s, and partly cloudy! Perfect for a concert!! We’ll look forward to seeing you next Saturday night for a great time of music a fun!!!!
