GRAND FINALE CONCERT FOR 2022
Tomorrow night Lake Country Jubilee will be the Grand Finale Concert of 2022 marking the completion of our 31st season at Lake Country Jubilee. “THANK YOU” for your loyal support? Through the years we’ve become “Family.” Together, we’ve enjoyed inspiring, and entertaining concerts at Lake Country Jubilee, and tomorrow night is no exception. As always, we’ve got a superb talent lineup starting with “The First Family of Gospel Music”- The Hoppers!! For over half a century they’ve been presenting songs, old and new, that has thrilled audiences around the world. And their new project, “Believe”, carries on that tradition. You’ll love the old Joel Hemphill song “Can You See The Clock” and the new Rodney Griffin song “Worth a Million Words!” And that just scratches the surface. They might even include some songs from their new Christmas project. Any time the Hoppers appear at Lake Country Jubilee, you know the music, and fun, will flow! And tomorrow night, they’ll be joined by Tribute Quartet, and The Inspirations. Tribute Quartet will be making their “umpteenth” visit to Lake Country Jubilee! They are one of the most talented, and innovative, groups in gospel music. And The Inspirations are carrying on a musical tradition started nearly 50 years ago. We expect to have tickets available at the door, so come, and bring a friend! Some restaurants you may want to visit on the way to the concert are Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken, El Nogalito, both on Moore St, and Country House on Hwy 148, just south of the railroad. See you tomorrow!!!!
AN IMPORTANT NOTE!!!
We’ve just finished 25 years on radio station KAAM. I have used that occasion to create 6 “Historical” Promotional “spots” to air on KAAM and our Lake Country Jubilee programs. Because “Living Memory” of D/FW’s unique history in gospel music will soon disappear, I have used these “Promo’s” record that history- starting in 1924. I think you’ll find it informative, and interesting..
