THE EXCITEMENT GROWS!!
Few artists in any field of music generate the excitement our May 19th Lake Country Jubilee concert is producing. Folks from far and near are making plans to be there when the Collingsworth Family, Triumphant Quartet, and Wilburn & Wilburn take the stage at the beautiful Terrell Performing Arts Center. Be sure and be there when the music starts at 6:30 PM for this “once in a lifetime” night. It will be the first time this “all star” talent lineup has ever been presented- together! Just hearing Kim Collingsworth and Jeff Stice on the twin grand pianos would be worth the trip!! But, there’s so much more. The rich harmonies of Triumphant Quartet, the wonderful blending of voices and instruments of the Collingsworth Family, and the exciting renditions of Jonathan and Jordan Wilburn will make memories that will last a lifetime. As most of you know, Jean and I have been living on our ranch raising cattle for almost thirty years. We are now in the process of re-locating to our home in Dallas. The entire project will require several months. Look for changes in our telephone numbers and mailing address as time goes by. You’ll have plenty of notice by watching our Email Updates… Also, we’ll be looking for a new church home. Any suggestions??? And, for the first time in a long time, I’ll be available for personal concerts, mini-concerts and special events. Call 800-580-2697 for scheduling… Last, but not least, is our 24/7 webcast. Previously, it was necessary to go to our website to access it. It will still be available that way. But, we were recently accepted by “tunein.” “tunein” is the largest supplier of radio programming for smart-phones (iphones and Android) as well as ipads, and similar tablets. “itunes” is available as a “download” through Apples “App Store” and Android’s “Market.” There’s a “free” version and a fancy one for $.99. That’s a “one time” cost of less than $1.00.
I’ve had it on my iphone and ipad for a good while and it works great. Simply “download” the “app” and type in the “desired station” address line “lake country jubilee” and enjoy. One tip, when you want to listen, touch the arrow “start” symbol. When you wish to stop- always touch the “stop” square located to the right. Once you use it, “lake country jubilee” and our symbol will appear in our “recents” list. A simple touch on the words or symbol will start the music. It’s great!!!!
