LAKE COUNTRY JUBILEE
CONCERT UPDATE
Oct. 11, 2024
TOMORROWS THE DAY!!
Just a few last minute details as we prepare for a great afternoon of gospel music when we’ll be presenting Greater Vision, The Mark Trammell Quartet, and Tribute Quartet. First, remember the time change! The doors open at 3pm and the concert starts at 4pm. Weather should not be a problem.
The Texas- O.U. game kicks off at 2:30pm at the Cotton Bowl at Fair Park in Dallas. So arriving from North Dallas, traffic should not be a problem.
Returning home, I plan to visit one of the fine restaurants in Terrell which would give plenty of time for the Texas, Oklahoma game traffic to clear out.
Terrell is blessed with most of the national chain restaurants, and some wonderful locally owned restaurants. Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken Restaurant serves “cafeteria” style, with many entre’s, vegetables, and desserts! It’s a local favorite! El Nogalito Mexican Restaurant is another local favorite! If you like Mexican food, you will love El Nogalito!! Another choice, if you like good “Home Cooking” with a broad menu, is Country House Restaurant. You might want to consider dining out before, and after, the concert!
We expect tickets to be available at the door. Also, posters will be available for the December 7th “Christmas With The Collingsworth Family” presentation! Also, posters for the Lake Country Jubilee 202 5 Concert Schedule will also be available.
Thanks to everyone that has made Lake Country Jubilee a part of the Centennial Celebration of gospel music’s arrival in Texas! And it’s the 33rd season of Lake Country Jubilee presenting “Gospel Music at Its Best” all four seasons of the year. See you tomorrow!!!!
