LAKE COUNTRY JUBILEE

CONCERT UPDATE

 June 20, 2025

ANOTHER GREAT CONCERT AT LAKE COUNTRY JUBILEE

Most Lake Country Jubilee concerts have featured three artists, but occasionally that has varied. Tomorrow night’s Lake Country Jubilee we will be presenting four groups, starting with one of America’s most awarded groups, Greater Vision! And, Greater vision will be introducing their brand new baritones, Scott Mullins. You may not recognize the name, but you’ll recognize Scott from his appearances at Lake Country Jubilee with the Guardians! If we just presented Greater Vision, alone, that would be worth the trip!

They’ll be joined by The Mark Trammell Quartet. Mark is a legend from his years with The Cathedral Quartet, and Gold City! And now, Mark has assembled one of the finest quartets on the Land. And be sure to pick up one of his “Classics” projects!! It contains some of Mark’s songs from his half-century of singing!

They’ll be joined by “The Sweethearts of Gospel Music,” Jim and Melissa Brady! Their appearances at Lake Country Jubilee have made them “Legends” at Lake Country Jubilee, not only for their singing, but both Jim and Melissa are, both, are great composers!! Plus, both play instruments! If just Jim and Melissa sang, it would be worth the trip!

And last, but not least, we’ll be presenting The Mylon Hayes Family. They have appeared once before, at a Christmas Hymn Sing. You heard them sing Christmas favorites, but not their regular “Concert Program!” I fist The Hayes Family about 30 years ago at NQC in Kentucky Mylon’s Dad (Howard), and Mom (Lucy), headed up the Hayes Family. And, as is common in a “Family group’, Mylon was one of the vocalist! They were known then for selecting great songs, great voices, and great vocal arrangements! If the Mylon Hayes Family were the only artist performing tomorrow, it would be well worth the trip!!

It all happens tomorrow night at the Performing Arts Center at 400 Poetry Road in Terrell, Texas. The doors open at 3PM. The music starts at 4PM. We expect tickets to be available at the door. Terrell is fortunate to have some unique local restaurants. They include Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken (15 meats 16 vegetables served cafeteria style), ElNogalito’s Mexican Restaurant (broad menu, great food and service, and Country House Café (broad menu including their favorite Chicken Fried Steak! Why not have lunch prior to the concert, and enjoy a meal with friends after the concert!!!
