LAKE COUNTRY JUBILEE
CONCERT UPDATE
January 12, 2012
WELCOME TO OUR 2012 CONCERT SEASON
It’s hard to believe Lake Country Jubilee is starting its third decade of bringing gospel music to the greatest fans in the world. It all starts January 21st, 2012!! And, what a way to kick it off! For the first time ever, we’re presenting one of the most talented groups in gospel music- The Isaacs!! They do so many things so well, it’s hard to take it all in: Such great individual voices, and wonderful family harmonies, such great musicianship on so many instruments, such great song writing, and on and on the list goes. There’s a reason they’ve been a part of the Gaither Homecoming Tour for so many years, and we’re so delighted to bring them to our stage at Lake Country Jubilee!! The Isaacs will be joined by the Kingsmen. The Kingsmen now have the #1 song in the nation “That’s All I Need!!” What a song!! The music starts at 6:30PM at the beautiful Terrell Performing Arts Center in Terrell, Texas. Tickets are still available at our 6 ticket outlets, by phone through our office at 800-580-2697 and online. Go to www.lakecountryjubilee.com for complete details. Don’t miss this “once in a lifetime” concert as we kick off our third decade at Lake Country Jubilee- “Texas Greatest Gospel Concerts.” We’ll see you there! Concert weather forecast: (Weather.com) Fair- 62 degrees!
GOLD CLUB AND SEASON TICKETS
Our Gold Club Membership and Season Ticket Packages are on schedule to set another sales record. Thanks to one and all! But, there’s still time if you don’t have yours yet. As usual, they will be available until the start of the January 21st concert. It’s your loyal support that has made it possible for us to go for seven years with no increase in ticket prices. Please accept our heart-felt thanks!
ATTENTION: CROZIER TECH GRAD’S
I have been invited to address the Crozier Tech Alumni Luncheon on January 18, 2012 at Raymond’s Barbecue. It’s located on Garland Road in Dallas (Between Easton and Jupiter). Lunch begins at 11AM followed by a brief meeting and address. There will be a time for a “questions and answer” session. Going to Crozier Tech (1949-1953) was a life-changing experience for me. It was there I studied electronics and made friendships that have lasted a lifetime. I could not do what I do now without the training I received at “Tech.” I hope you’ll find it interesting. No need to RSVP. Just come and enjoy.
ONCE IN A LIFETIME
Jean and I were able to attend the New Years Eve Celebration at the Gaylord Opreyland Hotel in Nashville this year. I would describe Opreyland, but it would be like trying to describe the Smithsonian. It defies description. Lush gardens, numerous pools with lanai eateries, restaurants galore, and a huge convention center- all under one roof!!! There were four concerts- ending Monday Jan. 2nd at noon. Talent included Legacy Five, Booth Brothers, Greater Vision, Isaacs, Collingsworth Family, Mark Trammell Quartet, Crist Family, and many more! Wow!! Our sincere appreciation to Scott Fowler (Legacy Five) for his thoughtfulness in inviting Jean, and me, to be his guests at the outstanding event!
