GET READY FOR A GREAT ONE!!
It’s almost impossible to present a better talent lineup than we’re presenting tomorrow night, June 03rd, when The Booth Brothers, The Hoppers, and Jim & Melissa Brady come calling at Lake Country Jubilee! Especially, since this could be the last time- EVER! In case you’re concerned about the weather, I just checked <wunderground.com>. There, they “graph” what weather conditions are likely at any location, and time. Pilots use this service a lot! The rain forecast for Terrell tomorrow most likely to start diminishing from around 40% to the teens around noon, and stay in at a reduced level until well after midnight. This is Texas, and these are forecast to be “popup” showers, so any showers should be brief. So, weather shouldn’t be a problem. Why not come a little early and visit the Shops in Terrell, formally Tanger Mall. And, another local thing to visit is the Ham Peach Orchard! It’s located on Hwy.80 a few miles East of Terrell. Dale Ham. Their store and restaurant are now open, and there are “goodies galore” right there at the edge of the peach orchard!” Just be sure to finish your shopping, and eating, in time for the concert!! It may not be as easy as you would think! Terrell is also blessed with most of the national “Chain” restaurants. In addition, they have some locally owned for you to enjoy, starting with Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken Restaurant. In reality, it’s one of few remaining “Cafeterias,” anywhere! The have 15 meats, and 16 vegetables, fruit cobbler’s, puddings, and more waiting just for you!!! For a Mexican Meal, try El Nogalito’s. Great food- great service! And finally Country Kitchen Restaurant has a broad menu, and great food. Remember, today is the last day to get your Holiday Inn Express Reservations at the Lake Country Jubilee Special Rate. The Reservations number is 972-563-7888. By the next concert, things should be back to normal. We see you tomorrow at the Terrell Performing Arts Center for one of the greatest concerts we’ve ever presented in the 32 year history of Lake Country Jubilee! The doors open at 5:30PM, and the Concert starts at 6:30PM
