THERM 7.7 -- Simulation does not finish

THERM has inexplicably developed a problem for me. When I go to simulate a file, the simulation will start but continues "thinking" indefinitely — it never finishes the simulation and displays results. Can someone help me figure out how to resolve this issue?

I am running THERM 7.7.12, and I have encountered this same problem on multiple files, all of which have simulated successfully as recently as a few weeks ago. I have already deleted and re-installed THERM, and the problem persists. I have also installed THERM on a different computer and have tried to simulate my files there, but the same problem persists even on the other computer.

I am able to simulate both files in 7.7.12 without issue.

Hi Robin, thanks for the help -- please see the requested .ini file attached.

Just to be clear, you did run a fresh simulation on the files with no problems?  When I first open them, they will display results if I click the appropriate button.  But if I regenerate boundary conditions and try to run a new simulation, that's when the problem occurs and the new simulation never finishes.

I ran them without generating BCs. I will try that and see if anything changes.
