Hey

I'm a new user of THERM and I'm just setting up the software, I've installed the software, installed the X86 C++ software and assigned a lib file but I'm now being asked to assign an INI file. I'm not sure what this file is or where to find it within the software package.

Any help would be much appreciated.

The INI by default should automatically be generated by the installation file. I'm not quite sure why the program isn't finding it unless you installed the program somewhere besides the default location (??)

This is where the INI lives
C:\Users\Public\LBNL\Settings

Hopefully it exists and you can just point THERM to use it.

Hi,

I'm also a new user and I'm having issues with the program. I've installed THERM7_8_57_SetupFull.exe  and I got the following error when trying to open it:
"The code execution cannot proceed because libifcoremd.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem".

I reinstalled the program and clicked the "repair" option, though it did not solved it.
Any support would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Ana

You need to install the 2 redistributable libraries that are linked from the installation page.

Hi,

I'm in a similar position to Ana. I've installed THERM7_8_57_SetupFull.exe  and the VC_redist.x86 file. I am still getting the same error message as her.

You mention we need to install two redistributable libraries, what is the second one?

Thanks in advance,
Liz

Hi All,

Replying to this thread to say I figured it out.
For others who might be wondering the same thing as me, the other redistributable library is the Intel Fortran
This can be found and downloaded at the bottom on this webpage:

Hope this helps someone else.
Best,
Liz

Hi,

I've installed both redistributable libraries as an administrator, also the window and therm as administrator.
I've done it 5 times so far. Still getting the same error that the libifcoremd.dll was not found...
Any ideas? I'm installing on Windows 11.
Thanks.
