Hi Robin, I am trying to import a THERM 7.7.10 file into THERM 7.4.4.  This is only because the AFRC hasn't yet approved anything later than 7.4.4 (!!).

I used the .thmx export option in Preferences and was able to import the file into THERM 7.4.4, and assign boundary conditions.  However it will not simulate and gives the error message, "Solution failed to converge.  Try changing relaxation parameter...".  I tried this without success.

Thinking it was something in the model, I created a very simplified version consisting of only one polygon.  However it still will not simulate.  File is attached here.

Is there another way to open 7.7 THERMs in 7.4?

Any advice welcome...

Peter.

Peter

The files are not really very backward compatible except through the THMX file.

I will have one of our programmers see if there is anything that can be done to allow the THMX file to simulate.
