Hi Robin,

Thank you for your respond, I have attached my file on my previous email (Jan 21, 2022, 5:03:33 PM), but I re-attached the file here.

You file is very complex, and I am not surprised it doesn't run as is, although the program shouldn't crash.

I will work on getting this file to run but I am curious why you put a frame cavity on the inside of the upper glazing system exposed to the interior room?

Also, the frame cavities are broken up into multiple polygons, and I am wondering why you did that.

I would recommend reading the NFRC WINDOW / THERM Simulation manual which can be found on our documentation page, which discusses when to break up frame cavities

Hi Robin,

Thank you for your answer, I've some notes as below:
  1. you can remove the frame cavity on the inside of the upper glazing system exposed to the interior room.
  2. I've tried to find a solution for a crashed simulation, I just assume that while I've broken up the frame cavities into multiple polygons it will help the simulation process, but it's not worked at all,so, I will make it one again.
Hopefully you can send me the correct one to helping me, Thank you.

Go to Options menu / Preferences choice / THERM File Options tab

Change Float Tolerance from 0.03 (default) to 0.02

This should allow the file to run.

Hopefully making that change allowed you to simulate your file.
