Hello!

I am not very familiar with THERM and in my attempt to calculate the thermal bridging for a building I ended up with negative psi-values for the jamb and the sill details. I have attached both the model I used for the psi-value calculation ("Jamb_90.THM") and the one for the condensation assessment ("409_Jamb_90.THM") so you can see where the framing is. The U-value of the wall is 0.29 W/m2K.

Looking forward for everyone's replies!

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,

Alexandra

Hello Bandi,

Thank you very much for the check and the response!

I realised what my mistake was. I was using a higher U-value with contingency... so simple.

But since I have you here can I also ask you where you get the Φ value from? Can you get it directly from the software? Because I'm getting the result through the U-factors from the table on the right below and calculate as in the table on the left (attached).

 Thanks a lot in advance!
