Good afternoon, everyone!

 

Another month rolls by and brings another Town Manager Brief for your reading pleasure, and to share with friends, organizations, neighbors and readers.

 

Three important items are included in this issue (attachments provided for each):

• The 2025 Annual Citizens Survey will begin soon, so please watch for the letter with your unique code to complete the on-line survey.  Your feedback really matters!  The Town Commission and Town Manager use your responses to guide their planning, priority setting, and initiatives to ensure Longboat Key remains the paradise you each expect, and deserve.  The on-line survey is open from February 10th through February 28^th.  We very much value your opinions, and perspectives.
• Our March 8, 2025 Community Open House will be held from 10:30am – 1:30pm at the Town Center Green.  This year will be bigger and better than ever!  Live music, food trucks, local businesses, our houses of worship, civic organizations, local non-profits, and everyone and everything that makes Longboat such a special community.  Please come out for the fun, bring your family & friends, and enjoy the day.

• Let’s Talk Longboat!  This very popular series continues on February 11 @ 3:00 pm, hosted at Bayfront Park.  Join Town Manager Howard Tipton, Asst. Town Manager Isaac Brownman, and Planning, Zoning & Building Director Allen Parsons for this relaxed, unstructured afternoon where the conversation and topics are driven by YOU!  Hope to see you there 😊
