Currently, we're only able to take interns through two community programs from Jewish Vocational Services: www.jvsla.org as they provide youth interns 14-24 yrs. of age with the opportunity to obtain real-life work experience and get paid for their internship. The program lasts for only a fixed amount of hours.
To qualify and participate in JVS Youth Services paid work experience every interested youth must complete the following to join. JVS has limited spots so make sure everything is turned in accurately.
Eligibility:
• Live or reside in the West Los Angeles, Venice, Santa Monica, or the Hollywood area
• (Call to see if zip code qualifies)
• Be ages 14-24yrs of age
• Submit a complete application and youth declaration
• Must meet low-income requirements as outlined by the County of Los Angeles
• Provide Right-to-work documentation to conduct employment

Each application will be reviewed and responded within 2-3days of receipt via phone, email, or mail. If a client qualifies for one of our programs he/she will be assigned a case manager to start working with them. If not eligible we will refer youth accordingly to other youth providers that may fit their geographic area and/or other identified needs.

There are strict guidelines that JVS follows.
If the prospective intern is interested, they must be eligible for JVS services - that person needs to first go through the JVS training program!
An interview can be set up with our agency once a referral is made through JVS.
