As discussed earlier in the course, learning analytics tools are being developed by software vendors for deployment at an organizational-wide level...see for example SunGard's acquisition of Purdue Signals: http://www.sungardhe.com/signals/ . Similarly, LMS vendor Blackboard is offering analytics tools that straddle analytics for learning and "data-informed" decision making at an institutional level: http://www.blackboard.com/Platforms/Analytics/Overview.aspx
