Good morning,
just got back from a 2 weeks trip to Alto Katsi to bring water to the
construction site.
We installed a RAM pump, as they do not have electricity or money to
buy fuel.
With an intake on the creek of 100 meters of piping and 700 meters of
tubing to the site we are getting 500 liters a day, witch is half of
what I was thinking.
So I will have to build one other Ram and install it on parallel and
bring the volume up to 1000.00 that is needed.
Will go back in 3 to 4 weeks to do it.
A month ago Mireya Salas went in for 10 days to build a green house in
bamboo for hydroponics and start the seeds, so that the kids have
fresh vegetables with their school meal, something that they need
badly.
When there I did some transplants of tomatoes cucumbers lettuces, etc,
etc.
Also show them how to build a refrigerator that work by water
evaporation not as good then what we are used to, but better then
nothing, and it doe help, to keep food a few more days.
We still need around money to finish this project, and the crisis
situation is not helping, so will keep at it.
Sincerely.
Mike
