Fwd: Notification of Planned Lowering of Lake Arrowhead

A lowering of Lake Arrowhead is planned to occur beginning the week of March 18, 2024. Through the Ledgemere Hydroelectric Project facilities, Ledgemere Hydro plans to lower the level of Lake Arrowhead by 4.0 feet for approximately two weeks. This is being done to repair the flashboard system that maintains the lake elevation. Please find the attached notification detailing the plan and schedule to share with property owners.
For public awareness, this notification is also being shared with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, the Maine Department of Inland Fish and Wildlife, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and the Saco River Corridor Commission.
