Update on the La Montana

Thank you all for your support in purchasing (and hopefully enjoying) the El
Salvador La Montana. I am always impressed with your generosity and
appreciation for quality, and am glad to see that those qualities extend to
those involved at all levels in creating the coffee.

I also wanted to pass on thanks from George Howell (the roaster) who has
just come back from El Salvador where he was able to meet with Mr. Ochoa
(the farmer) and inform him of the money that will be coming. Needless to
say Mr. Ochoa is very grateful and looking forward his 2010 crop.

Since there was interest, I wanted to let people know that La Montana is now
available for bulk bean purchase at the price of $25 per quarter pound. All
money raised over the cost of the beans (which will be directly donated to
the farm) will be put towards a program to purchase Mr. Ochoa's 2010 crop,
in a sense giving him the cash now so he can make it.

Thanks again for you support and I look forward to seeing you all around the
shop.
