Shabbos Haggadol, Avodim Hoyyinu, Kitzur S"A 107:3

The Kitzur S"A paskens to recited Avodim Hoyinu during the afternoon of Shabbos Hagadol because the Nissim start then.

The GRA, cited in the Metzudah edition p.755 fn 12 objected to this Minhog.

Question:
I'm wondering Could the reason for reading Avodim Hoyyinu actually be based upon the idea of a rehearsal - a la a Model Seder?

Then the issue of Balaylu Hu would fall away.
