Take the survey before Sept. 16.
The City of Kirkland is exploring updates to zoning regulations
that would allow small-scale, neighborhood-serving businesses like
produce and food markets, cafés, and retail shops in appropriate
residential areas.
The goal is to create more opportunities for more destinations and
services within walking distance of homes, and making sure they
fit well within surrounding neighborhoods. This survey will be
used to develop citywide zoning regulations. It is not evaluating
or approving businesses at specific locations.
Your feedback will help us understand lived experiences, community
priorities, and the types of regulations that can support both
neighborhood compatibility and successful small businesses.
