If you're interested in getting your voice heard about whether to close Park Lane to traffic, please see the below email from Martha Chaudhry,  Special Projects Coordinator, Economic Development, City Manager's Office:

The City of Kirkland has engaged a consulting firm to evaluate the future of Park Lane as it pertains to vehicular traffic. At its August 3, 2022 meeting, the City Council directed staff to engage a consulting firm to evaluate three possible scenarios for Park Lane. The selected consultant MIG, Inc. migcom.com is tasked with evaluating:

  1. Full year-round closure of Park Lane to traffic;
  2. Full summer seasonal closure of Park Lane to traffic;
  3. Summer evening closure of Park Lane to traffic.

The Council may also decide to take no action on Park Lane related to closure to vehicles.

The City and consultant seek stakeholder input related to these three potential scenarios and has organized a schedule of Listening Sessions hear from stakeholders including building owners, business owners and tenants, community and neighborhood representatives and others who are directly impacted by potential decisions surrounding Park Lane.

If you would like to engage in the discussion about the future of Park Lane, please sign up to participate in a scheduled Listening Session. Details are as follows:
