QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
What will be the impact on my school tax bill?
The borrowings associated with the projects will be phased in over the
life of the projects. The first payment that will have an impact on
the tax levy is expected to occur in the 2009-2010 school year. Debt
service payments will be partially offset by the retirement of current
debt.
The average household, assessed at $350,000, is expected to see an
estimated annual increase of approximately $74 when the project is
fully completed.
