Kick Butt Blues this Friday, March 27th

Kick Butt Blues is back this Friday with Special guest DJ Jonathan Pechon. Coming from Dallas, Jonathan DJ's weekly at Sons of Hermann Hall and is the DJ Coordinator for the Dallas Swing Dance Society. Taking a lead from others in Dallas such as Don West and Jerry Warwick, he's worked to be able to appreciate and share music all over the spectrum of jazz and blues with the dancers, giving them everything from the drive of Chick Webb, the fat honk of Buddy Johnson, the laid-back groove of Oscar Peterson, the raw power of Kid Ory and his bands, and plenty more in between. His job is to do everything he can to make sure dancers get a taste of as much variety as he can, and allow them to truly experience how they can communicate with all of these different styles of music.

Also in attendance will be DJs Keith 'Big Papa' Shapiro and Patrick “dj st. patrick” Warren. Always a great time to be had dancing and socializing your Friday night away. Come join us for the dancing and the music and be sure to pick up one of your very own Kick Butt Blues t-shirts.
