Respondus Lockdown Browser

Hello!

I am looking to connect with Canvas LMS users and want to know if you are using Respondus Lockdown Browser with Canvas. 

We are BYOD at our High School so we support laptops that are Chromebooks, PCs, and Macbooks. Up until now, we have not had any monitoring software for high school devices because of this. We've seen a trend, particularly this year, in student test performance between quizzes online (Canvas and AP platforms) and paper tests (teachers are switching between the two every other test). Students perform higher taking the quizzes online vs on paper. Anyone else seeing this?

I know Respondus works with Canvas quizzes, and from what I've read it only works with quizzes. You cannot use it with integrated assignments, regularly assignments, discussions, etc. Our science department wants to use it for assignments as well, and it doesn't seem possible.

I should add that we do not have Impact or Mastery Connect.

If you are a Canvas district and are using Respondus Lockdown Browser, I'd love to hear your experience with it. 

If you have suggestions on an alternative lockdown software, let me know. Again, with our high school being BYOD this has been a can of worms for our tech department in the past.
