We currently use Dreambox as a supplemental adaptive math tool in our elementary schools (K-4 buildings). Our math curriculum is going through a review so we are also reviewing our adaptive math tool.

We narrowed our review down to Freckle Math, Happy Numbers, and Boddle, and will compare it against Dreambox.

We did not include IXL in this because it is used at our middle schools and for intervention programming at the middle level. Same for ALEKS, which is used at the high school.

  1. If you have experience in reviewing adaptive tools such as these, how did you conduct the process? Any advice to share?
  2. If you have experience with any of the tools mentioned above (Freckle Math, Happy Numbers, or Boddle), and are willing to share your experience and thoughts, please do!
Thank you,
