Happy soon to be the start of summer!

ECMECC has several opportunities for summer professional development if you or the staff at your schools are interested. Check them out below. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact me.

The Teaching with Today's Technology (T3 ) Program

Summer technology courses and workshops are designed to provide flexible learning options for K-12 teachers who desire to become better acquainted with technology tools that can be effectively used in their classrooms, or in their professional practice. Participation in any of the courses or sessions is FREE to ECMECC member school staff. Participants from non-member districts will be charged $25 per person / per session. All Classes will take place IN PERSON in Room B100 at Braham Area High School - 531 Elmhurst Ave. S., Braham.

Lake ECMECC Conference - August 2, 2022

Registration for the 9th Annual Lake ECMECC Conference is NOW OPEN! The Conference will again take place in-person at North Branch High School on August 2, 2022. There will be a smaller subset of sessions offered for virtual attendees. Registration begins at 7:45am. The Welcome and Keynote begins at 8:30am.

This year's Keynote by Ed Dougherty is entitled “What’s Next for Education? The Roaring 20s

The morning and afternoon breakout sessions will feature your colleagues, many of the best educators in the area who know what it is like to teach and work in our area. We are still accepting applications for presenters and would love to have you share your knowledge, skills, and expertise with other educators.  Fill out the Call For Presenters TODAY!

The Demo Slam will once again be contested. Let Jeremy Mikla know if you would like to participate this year. Who knows? You could win not just a fabulous prize, but also the love and admiration of your peers.
