Hi all,

This might be too specific but I'm hoping to find someone who has used both Prodigy and Boddle and can give me a comparison of the two products? I've got a couple teachers using Prodigy, and while I've never dug deep into it I've never been a huge fan. Boddle came across my desk this morning and appears similar. Looking to chat with someone who has spent more time with the products than I have.

I haven't tried either Prodigy or Boddle, but we did use Dreambox for a while and is worth a look.

Hi Patrick,

While I don't know much about Prodigy, I am currently looking into Freckle Math, Happy Numbers, and Boddle as we are in a math curriculum review. Our current tool is Dreambox. We are conducting a trial with Boddle starting in March. When we initially met with each vendor, our Digital Learning Coaches (which consists of 10 elementary teachers across grades K-4) thought that Boddle was geared more towards upper elementary grades. We will see how the trial goes as we will have a mixture of classrooms across grades K-4 trialing the tools. Prodigy was initially on our list as we started discussing and researching tools, and it was removed because the group felt there is more playing involved than actual math practice. We are specifically looking for an adaptive tool, that also provides students support while they are practicing skills, and it appeared like Prodigy provided zero student support in their program. Whereas, some of the other programs provide students with hints or instructional re-teach mini videos, etc.

I would also welcome anyone to reach out to me if you have any experience with Freckle Math, Happy Numbers, or Boddle (premium versions).

Patrick, feel free to reach out to me individually if you have specific questions about Boddle! Happy to help.

Kara
