Anyway, things continue to go well here in Quito. I have been welcomed
in by all the emergency room staff and have been able to help out quite
a bit. I've observed many different procedures and ailments. One of
the docs in particular has been helping me examine patients and has
been teaching me whenever he can. I've been quite thankful for the
staff here.
Thank you for your continual prayers for my Spanish. It has grown
incredibly, and I can only attribute that to God's help. Yesterday, a
patient and his family arrived who could only speak English. I helped
translate for them all day and have built a friendship with them. A
more complete story is on my blog (http://kevinduf.blogspot.com).
Please pray for me as I show them God's love for the next few days.
May God continue to give you strength each day. For those of you
nearing the end of the semester, may you finish strong! For everyone,
may the glory of God shine through you in everything you do.
Blessings,
Kevin
