End of an Area

My time in Shell is almost finished. I'm off to Quito this weekend,
where I'll be staying for another 1.5 months. I feel a bit like
I'm moving from Upland to Chicago-relatively close and in the same
country, yet extremely different. In fact, the size change is probably
nearly proportional.

My time here in Shell has been wonderful. I had three main goals when
I came down here: to serve, learn, and have an adventure. I feel like
I'm well on my way to completing all three. The doctors, residents,
and interns here have been very supportive of me, have taught me much,
and have welcomed me to join them in so many things. I'm also
extremely thankful for my Ecuadorian family and the friends I've
made. My Spanish is improving each day, and I find I'm able to help
out more and more. Thank you for your prayers!
