Thank you all for your prayers during this especially difficult week
for Taylor's extended community. I specifically knew 2 of those who
died in the accident, Betsy and Whitney. Betsy was a fellow personnel
assistant, and Whitney lived right down the hall from Kelsey and was
one of the girls I coached in soccer last fall. I have nothing but
wonderful memories of both girls. It has been very difficult for me to
be so far away from the Taylor community during this time. But as
tough as it has been for me, this has been especially hard for Kelsey
and all of her wing. Please continue to keep all of Taylor in your
prayers. There are quite a few people who are asking some very
difficult questions right now. Pray that the faithfulness and love of
God will shine through, even in this extremely difficult time. More of
my personal thoughts are on my blog (

This week, I will be heading on a medical caravan to Punin, a
mountainous village that I know next to nothing about. I look forward
to the opportunities that God has waiting for us this week as we serve
in this area. I really have very little idea of what to expect, but I
know it will certainly be an adventure. I'm praying that God will
continue to give me open doors to serve and to share His love with the
people of Ecuador and whomever else I encounter while I'm here.
