Strategic Planning Committee

To the KXCI CAB (and everybody else, for that matter):

 

Last night the Board appointed (on our recommendation) Scott Denton and Ron Cipriani to fill open positions on the Strategic Planning Committee.  Scott will be a representative for the volunteers/programmers and Ron will be a replacement for a BoD representative.  Ironically he is also the volunteer rep to the Board, so in terms of historical power-sharing at the station it is not too badly balanced!

 

No one from the CAB replied to my last post, so the CAB is only represented by me and time is getting pretty darn short to join, but if you could attend an all day sucker tomorrow, you would probably be accepted.  ; )

 

The cut-off date for visioning input is May 23.  We intend to leave the forms there as we all agree kxci needs to continue requesting and receiving input, but we committed to presenting a draft plan to the Board at the annual meeting June 19th and we need to start formulating that.

 

So, PLEASE make sure you have done your part.

Thanks Kali,

I added to the blog after your last announcement. Some good input, though the dominant focus was on programming stuff, which is not as helpful, I'm guessing. I tried to speak to that, though I'm sure not everyone reads every post... might be worth editing the top part to guide the feedback/input?
