Yes and no. If it's made for the Minotla A-mount (auto focus, alpha mount), then yes. If it's
made for any other mount, you'll need an adapter from an independent maker to fit it. What
mount was the particular lens you're interested in manufactured for? Vivitar made lenses to
fit a variety of cameras, and Vivitar also released a few manual focus lenses (w-a-y before the
time of auto focus cameras) with their own interchangeable mount - the TX-series or T-4-series,
where another Vivitar-made adapter can be exchanged onto the rear of the lens to make a Vivitar
TX-style fit a variety of manual focus camera bodies - but ONLY manual focus camera bodies. To
fit such a lens to a Minolta or Konica Minolta ALpha/Dynax/Maxxum SLR, Sony Alpha or Canon EOS
SLR auto focus camera body requires an additional adapter between the lens and camera. (Nikon
and Pentax kept the same mount for manual and auto focus lenses, by the way.) Explore more on

My recommendations? The Tamron 28-200mm is available quite inexpensively, and through it had 4
or more generations from initial production, they are all superlative lenses, convienence wise.
