Happy birthday to us...at midnight on April 1, 1996 Palomar
College Radio began broadcasting on AM 1320. That means this Saturday,
April 1st (no joke) is our 10th Anniversary. We sat around wondering
how to commemorate this momentous occasion in our history and decided
there was no better way than to party with YOU!
You don't have to RSVP, just tune in on April 1st at 12 PM for a full
eight hours of fun! The party will start with current and past KKSM DJs
remembering their favorite moments and playing some of their favorite
music. At 3PM we'll be joined by the band Orris
(
myspace.com/orrismusic) who will perform live in-studio and join
"Dynamite" Nick Lane and The Big J.D. for an interview. From 4-6PM
we'll do a countdown of the top ten songs from each year, 1996-2006.
6-8PM we'll be playing games with you (yes, prizes are included!). Then
at 8PM it will be time for us all to sing Happy Birthday together.
We hope you'll join us this Saturday!
