To all the cousins ,nephews and nieces.

Today our eldest cousin Kanna(Kunjappa periyappa's son) expired. 

He was Hari and Giri,s dad. Brother of Vasu, Chellappa and Sridhar.

He was a very nice person with a very large heart. He was one of the cousins who was my benefactor when I was studying in college. He was also one of the three persons who attended my marriage. 

I am very pained by his passing away. May his soul rest in peace. 

My condolences to Thangam Manni, Hari and GB.

My earliest memories of Kanna in KGF dates back to the time when I was, may be , 3 or 4. He used to collect a variety of toffee wrappers and cigarette packs. I remember the day when he gave me a small empty box of colourful London Navy Cut which I preserved for a long time. Later when he was in Colgate I used to meet him in his office and he would give me a variety of Colgate products.  Kanna was a cheerful and happy-go-lucky person who was one among a very few who never changed his attitude and behaviour. I last met him when he was in Bangalore and was the same kanna of yesteryears.

I wish him peace although he was a very cool person.
